Marine Terminal Administrator

Marina Facilities Supervisor

The Port of Skagit is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to provide a variety of marina-related facilities functions. This is a full-time, year-round position for a 500-slip marina in beautiful La Conner, WA. This is a hands-on, get the job done position. Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package. Duties include, but not limited to: schedule, direct, supervise, and perform marina maintenance and repair activities in coordination with Facilities Manager and Harbormaster. Position has responsibility for the marina’s work order system, prioritizing work, personally performing work, allocating work to staff, and responding to customer maintenance requests. Perform marina inspections – daily, weekly, monthly. Troubleshoots and analyzes problems related to marina maintenance and repair needs; perform construction inspection and oversight on maintenance and small works projects as needed. Serve as the lead response coordinator for weather related emergencies at the marina (snow & ice events, wind storms, flooding, etc.). Receive security calls for the marina, initiate staff call-out for the maintenance team, supervises team, and assist with response actions as needed (plowing, etc.). Serve as a lead emergency response resource for the marina, including sinking boats, fuel spills, fire, etc.  May carry the Marina duty phone when needed.

Assistant Airport Manager

Manage and coordinate landside/terminal facility planning, business analysis and justifications, project development processes and construction. Manage and coordinate the Landside project budgets with the Aviation Division business planning process, integrate the landside/terminal elements of the airport’s Comprehensive Development Plan and Sustainable Master Plan into the overall Aviation Capital Improvement Program. Provide project management responsibility for landside Status 1 and 2 projects and Aviation Small Jobs projects ($300,000 or less). Manage planning and development of the Landside Intelligent Transportation System infrastructure (ITS). Provide project support for facility planning, design, and construction planning for other Aviation improvement projects such as Facilities & Infrastructure utility projects or tenant work.
