Will I receive a confirmation of my seminar registration?
Confirmation of on-line registrations will be sent via email within 48 hours. The confirmation will be sent to both the attendee and admin email addresses shown in the registration section. If you do not receive a confirmation within 2 days, please do not hesitate to call 360-943-0760.
What is the dress code?
Dress is business casual.
Sleeping room rates at the Hotel Murano are $169/night for a single or double occupancy; $194 for triple occupancy; $219 for quadruple occupancy plus applicable taxes and fees.
To make room reservations by phone call: 402-593-5454. The hotel recommends using Passkey to make web-based reservations, book on line at https://book.passkey.com/go/WAPublicPortsAssn2018. When you call in, please remember to specify that you are with the Washington Ports Association to be assured of the group rate.
You must cancel your room with the hotel at least 48 hours prior to your arrival or you will be charged one night’s stay plus taxes.
Check in is 4:00 pm, check out is 12:00 pm.
To be assured of a room at this rate, you must make your reservation by November 8, 2018, the lodging cut-off date (we have a limited number of rooms set aside at this rate so please make your reservations right away to be sure that you get a room. In our contracted block, we have 15 rooms held Monday night; 118 rooms held Tuesday night; 148 rooms held Wednesday night; and 128 rooms held Thursday night. It is possible that the room block sells out PRIOR to the cut off date; Call early to assure you reserve a room).

Is there a registration deadline?
The WPPA seminar registration deadline is November 29, 2018. The hotel reservation at the group rate deadline is November 8, 2018. We do have a limited number of rooms and this deadline does not insure that we will have enough rooms for everyone so be sure to call early and make your reservation. If you call to make hotel reservations before the group rate deadline and have trouble getting a room, please contact Missy Goodell at email@example.com or 360-943-0760.
What are the registration fees?

What does my registration fee include?
Your WPPA registration fee includes everything listed on the agenda.
Can I bring a guest and what portion of the event can they attend?
Yes you can bring a guest! Guests are invited and encouraged to attend the Thursday evening reception and there is no additional fee. The Ports breakfast during the meeting (Thursday morning) is for the registered attendees only, not guests and not Associate Members.
Do I need to register my guest?
Yes, please register your guest. There is a place on the on-line registration form to register them. This helps us to ensure that we order the proper amount of food for our evening reception.
I have food allergies/I’m a vegetarian. How do I let you know this?
There is a comment section on the registration form. PLEASE note this information there so that we can be sure to order meals that are proper for your needs! If you have any troubles with the form, have any questions or forget to add that in when you register, please contact Missy Goodell and she will be happy to help: firstname.lastname@example.org or 360-943-0760. Food allergy issues may be difficult to accommodate if communicated on-site.
What if I have to cancel?
A $75 administration fee will be charged for cancellations received after November 29, 2018 and for registrants failing to show.
Associate Member Reception - Wednesday, December 5, 2018 - 4:00 - 5:30 pm
This reception is being brought back by popular demand! We want our port members to be able to network with our associate members early on in our meeting. This portion of the agenda will be held on Wednesday, December 5th from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and will immediately follow our general session. We will have a hosted bar with beer and wine and also some light hors d ’oeuvres. You will have the opportunity to reserve a table where you can set up a booth to show our attendees what you have to offer. There is a limited number of tables so please make sure to contact Missy Goodell in the association office right away to reserve yours! This is a great opportunity to let our members know about the services you offer.
Here are the basic details:
What: Associate Member Reception
Date: Wednesday December 5, 2018
Time: 4:00 to 5:30 pm (but the event usually runs longer)
Where: Hyatt Regency, Bellevue – Room TBD
Cost: $150.00 per table. This cost does not include any free registrations. You and any staff working the table will still need to register as an attendee.
How Many: There are a limited number of tables available – only 20 so reserve yours now!
