Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
Confirmation of on-line registrations will be sent via email within 48 hours.  The confirmation will be sent to the email address shown in the registration section.  If you do not receive a confirmation within 2 days, please do not hesitate to call 360-943-0760.

What is the dress code?
Dress is business casual. You may wish to dress more formal at the Thursday evening President’s Reception.

Hotel Information
WPPA rates at the Historic Davenport Hotel are as follows: 

  • Deluxe King Room: $159.00 for single/double occupancy (block includes: 49 rooms Tuesday; 54 rooms Wednesday; 54 rooms Thursday)

  • Deluxe 2-Queen Room: $159.00 for single/double occupancy (block includes: 49 rooms Tuesday; 54 rooms Wednesday; 54 rooms Thursday)

  • Standard Room: $159.00 for single/double occupancy (block includes: 9 rooms Tuesday; 60 rooms Wednesday; 38 rooms Thursday)

All hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12%) in effect at the time of check-out. A Tourism Promotion and Assessment fee of $2.00 per room, per night, and a Destination Amenity Fee of $10.00 per room, per night will be applied.  

Method of Reservations
Reservations must be made by Monday, April 15, 2019 to assure the contracted group rate.  
When our contracted block of rooms have all been reserved, our block is "sold out," but standard rates will still be available if there are rooms available.  (Please note:  the block may sell out any time prior to our contracted cut-off date.).  

OUR ROOM BLOCK IS IN THE HISTORIC DAVENPORT HOTEL. Reservations for this event will be made by individual attendees directly with the Historic Davenport at (509) 455-8888. Specify that you are with the Washington Public Ports Association’s Spring Meeting (there is no code to provide for this meeting). All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.  Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid charges. (IMPORTANT: Ask for reservations at the HISTORIC Davenport Hotel. Their hours of operation to take reservations are DIFFERENT than Central Housing, which you may be transferred to if no one answers at the Historic Davenport, and Central Housing is open Monday-Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you experience challenges, please call Ethan Brandt, Group Housing Coordinator, at the Davenport and make your reservations with him: (509) 598-4320 or ebrandt@thedavenporthotel.com.)

The Historic Davenport Hotel self-park garage is located on the corner of Post Street and 1st Street, and the Valet garage is located off Post Street at the main entrance.

Self-Park Rates: $12 per day for overnight guest Self-Parking (or $5 for hours 104 / $1 each additional hour; $17 maximum per day)
Valet Rates: Day: $17 Event/Day Valet; Overnight Guests: $22 Overnight Valet

Pets are welcome at the Historic Davenport Hotel. Maximum 2 pets per room. $50 per room per stay. Contact hotel for more details.

Is there a registration deadline?
The seminar registration deadline is Thursday, May 9, 2019.

What are the registration fees?

What does my registration fee include?
The registration fee includes everything listed on the Spring Meeting agenda.

Do I need to register my guest and is there a charge for them to attend?
There is no separate fee for a spouse/guest to attend the Associate Member Reception on Wednesday night or the President’s Reception on Thursday evening, but any additional guests do need to be registered in advance (we do want to be sure to feed them).  Please be sure to include their full name on the registration form when registering for this event.

I have food allergies/I’m vegetarian.  How do I let you know this?

What if I have to cancel?
A $75 administration fee will be charged for cancellations received after Thursday, May 9 and for registrants failing to show.

Associate Member Reception - Wednesday, May 15, 2019 - 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Associate Members, you are vital to Washington Ports, and your participation is strongly encouraged! This is an excellent venue for establishing and strengthening important relationships within our port community.

Our Associate Member Reception is very popular, and it has become an annual event. We want our port members to be able to mingle with our Associate Members early on in our meeting. This portion of the agenda will be on Wednesday, May 15th from 5:00 to 6:30 pm and will immediately follow our general session. We will have a hosted bar with beer and wine and also some light hors d’oeuvres.

You will have the opportunity to reserve a table where you can set up a booth to show our attendees what you have to offer. There is a limited number of tables (20 maximum), so please make sure to contact Missy Goodell at WPPA right away to reserve your table! This is a great opportunity to let our members know about the services you offer. Set-Up: Each Table Renter is given a 6’ skirted table (tables are set up around the perimeter of the room, about 6’ from the wall); it’s first-come, first-served for table location in the room
Cost: $250.00 per table + Wednesday registration for any table participants/attendees (this cost does not include any free registrations - your attendees/table representative must be registered on Wednesday to participate)
How Many: There are a limited number of tables available - only 20, so reserve yours now!
