Dear Port Directors:

The Annual WPPA Port Directors Seminar is one of the most valuable events that you can attend each year, and one I’ve been looking forward to since I started at WPPA. Now is the time to mark your calendars and make hotel reservations so you can be sure not to miss this year’s gathering.

This year, I am excited to announce that the Directors Seminar will be held at McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge and the Mountain Timber Market July 11 - 12. See FAQ’s for hotel information.

You can register online below.  Your spouse/partner is most welcome at our evening social events, all we ask is that you give us plenty of advance notice so we account for them when estimating headcounts for group meals.

Thank you and we hope to see you in Everett!

What does my registration fee include?

Your WPPA registration fee includes everything listed on the Director’s Seminar agenda for Thursday and Friday and we will bill you after the event has occurred. The optional Wednesday evening event is at your own expense.

Do I need to register my guest and is there a charge for them to attend?
There is no extra fee for you to bring a guest. All we ask is that you register that person in advance so we have a proper headcount for food and be sure to include their full name on the registration form. We encourage your guest to attend the Thursday evening reception and dinner! Given that the breakfasts and lunch on Thursday and Friday are part of the meeting program, guests are not invited to those meals. Thank you for your understanding.

I have food allergies/I’m vegetarian.  How do I let you know this?
There is a comment section on the registration form.  This information has to be shared in advance so please note this information when you register so we can be sure to order meals that are proper for your needs!  If you have any troubles with the form, have any questions, or forget to add that in when you register, please call 360.943.0760 or email mlill@washingtonports.org.

What if I have to cancel?

A $100 administration fee will be charged for cancellations received after July 3, 2024 and for registrants failing to show.
