The AWC is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization based in Olympia that represents Washington cities before the legislature, executive branch, and regulatory agencies. Besides advocacy, AWC provides access to relevant training, high-quality events, valuable data, and member pooling programs such as the Employee Benefits Trust, Workers’ Comp Retro, and the Drug & Alcohol Consortium. All Port Districts are eligible to join AWC and its Member Pooling Programs.
