Shannon & Wilson has supported the design and construction of port and harbor facilities for over six decades. We provide a variety of geotechnical, geologic, seismic, environmental, natural resources, hydrogeologic, and hydraulic/hydrologic expertise for waterfront development and airport facilities. We specialize in deep foundations; soft soils; long- term settlement; soil liquefaction and lateral spreading, integration of rail track and yards, permitting, wetlands identification and mitigation, environmental analysis and remediation, hydrogeologic assessments, dewatering, wave and scour modeling, interior drainage, coastal floodplain, and levee assessment and design. We employ 177 staff in our Seattle, Tri-Cities, and Portland offices, and 365 nationwide.
