SL Environmental Law Group focuses exclusively on contamination litigation, helping public agencies fund critical infrastructure by shifting the burden of contamination costs from taxpayers to the chemical manufacturers responsible for pollution. Since 2003, the firm has helped more than 400 clients recover over $2 billion through settlements and trials.

SL is actively representing more than 300 agencies and airports nationwide in litigation against PFAS manufacturers. As part of SL's extensive involvement in the ongoing Aqueous Film‑Forming Foam multi‑district litigation (MDL No. 2873), the firm has already helped secure over $1 billion in settlements for drinking water agencies in Phase 1 of the 3M and DuPont settlements alone, with additional recoveries expected from the water settlements as well as for other types of claims— including those impacting airports.
