Where and when is this year’s event?
This year’s event is at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, July 21st – 23rd.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes! Confirmation of online registrations will be sent via email within 48 hours. The confirmation will be sent to the email address shown in the registration section. If you do not receive a confirmation within 2 days, please do not hesitate to email

What is the dress code?
Dress is business casual.
Hotel Information
Our special group rate at Semiahmoo Resort is $229 plus taxes (the hotel has waived the resort fee for our group). The cutoff date for room reservations is Monday, June 23rd!
Once our room block is “sold out”, standard rates will apply. (Please note: our block may sell out any time prior to the cut-off date.) This hotel has a 48-hour cancellation policy, or you will be charged for your first night’s room + taxes.
Reservations can be made online by clicking here OR by calling 855-917-3767 and referencing WPPA Commissioners Seminar 2025 (please note: Semiahmoo and Icicle Inn in Leavenworth are owned by the same parent company so their voice mail system can be a little confusing). You will be asked to guarantee the reservation with a credit card. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Parking – There is complimentary self-parking at Semiahmoo.
Is there a registration deadline for the seminar?
For the early bird registration rate, please register online by Tuesday, July 1st. After that date, you can still register online but the registration fee will increase by 10%. The final date to register online will be Monday, July 14, 2025.
What are the registration fees and what do they include?
Please click here to view fees on the registration page. The fees include everything listed on the Commissioners Seminar agenda. We will bill you for your attendance after the event has occurred.
Do I need to register my spouse and is there a charge for them to attend?
While there is no extra fee for you to bring your spouse, we do ask that you register them in advance (please include their full name), so we have a proper headcount for the reception. We encourage your spouse to attend the receptions on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
I have food allergies/I’m vegetarian. How do I let you know?
There is a comment section on the registration form. Your dietary restrictions must be shared in advance so please note this information when you register. We will do our best to work with the hotel to meet your needs. If you have any trouble with the form, have any questions, or forget to add that when you register, please contact Mandy Lill.
What if I have to cancel?
A $100 administration fee will be charged for cancellations received after July 14th, 2025 and for registrants failing to show.
